CREST is the not-for-profit accreditation and certification body representing the technical information security industry. CREST provides internationally recognised accreditation for organisations and individuals providing penetration testing, cyber incident response and threat intelligence services. All CREST Member Companies undergo regular and stringent assessment; while CREST qualified individuals have to pass rigorous examinations to demonstrate knowledge, skill and competence. CREST is governed by an elected executive board of experienced security professionals who also promote, develop and support awareness, ethics and standards within the cyber security marketplace.

IOT Community The IoT Community®

RITICS is a portal to cutting-edge UK research into the cyber security of cyber-physical, critical systems.

The programme is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

RITICS was founded in 2014 as one of three cyber security Institutes set up by the UK Government in conjunction with EPRSC. Its early focus was to improve cyber security of Industrial Control Systems. RITICS was renewed and relaunched in spring 2018, with funding for a further 5 years, now sponsored by the NCSC in partnership with EPSRC.

UK Cyber Security Forum UK Cyber Security Forum

The UK Cyber Security Forum is a social enterprise representing sole traders and SMEs who are actively working in cyber security. The Forum facilitates a number of Cyber Security Clusters around the UK by working with a network of local volunteer champions. The Forum also runs a project to train unemployed neuro-diverse adults in cyber security and support them into work.

Neuro-diverse people often have skills which make them better at aspects of cyber security and yet many need additional support to find employment and cope with the working environment. The Forum works to support this talented pool of people to help fill the national cyber security skills gap.”
