"On behalf of the Conference Technical Committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 10th international conference on Power Electronics, Machines and Drives (PEMD 2020) which will be held in Nottingham, UK, in April 2020.

The PEMD conference has always been of great importance to me, from presenting my earliest work as a PhD student many years ago, to serving as a theme leader with the technical committee for the last two conferences. I have now been given the honour of chairing the PEMD conference in 2020, and I am keen to welcome you all to my home city of Nottingham.

PEMD is an event that brings together the UK and worldwide power electronics, machines and drives community like no other, and preparations are already underway to ensure that we further expand on the success of previous PEMD conferences.

PEMD 2020 will offer an outstanding program of technical presentations, tutorials, networking and social events that will prove extremely rewarding to both academic and industrial delegates. I look forward to seeing you all there."

PEMD TPN

The PEMD sector is subject to enormous innovation and growth, and keeping abreast of technology and market trends is ever more important. We aim to bring into one place, information on all relevant activities (within and without the IET), and develop a series of low cost seminars / colloquia to supplement the headline IET PEMD and ACDC Conferences.

This is a network aiming to serve the PEMD community. It is open to IET members and non-members.
