Student poster competition
Are you an undergraduate or taught MSc student with an interest in power electronics, machines and drives? Enter the PEMD 2020 student poster competition for the chance to present your work to the international community, a free day at the conference and a cash prize!
What are we looking for?
Your poster should detail a technical development or project that you have undertaken, which fits into the theme of Power Electronics, Machines and Drives. This could be a final year project, a project undertaken as part of a summer research programme or industrial placement, or work undertaken on an industrial year.
Who is eligible?
Current undergraduate and taught MSc students.
How to enter
Send an electronic version of your poster to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 13 March 2020.
All posters will be considered by members of the PEMD 2020 technical committee, with up to ten posters selected for the conference.
Posters should be submitted sized as A0, Portrait format - 841mm wide × 1189mm high.
What happens next?
If you are selected for the conference, we will contact you by email and invite you to attend PEMD 2020 on Tuesday, 21 April 2020. You will present your poster in a special session, and will be able to attend the other technical sessions taking place that day. Lunch is also provided.
All students presenting a poster will receive a certificate of attendance, and one winner will receive a cash prize!
